Tororo Municipal town which was greatly affected by lack of street lights has been strewn with sets of lights on five streets. The streets were originally dark and very risky to users. Traders who sold their merchandise at night and especially women were exposed to the danger of being attacked on the streets. The lighting of streets has enabled the low income earners in the Municipality to conduct market activities even at night in order to improve their standards of living.      

2. Handing Over Ceremony

The Ambassador of Japan to Uganda, H. E. Mr. Keiichi Kato attended the handover ceremony for the street lights at Tororo Municipality in Tororo.
