Animal traction is currently among the best ways through which farmers at the grassroots increase production. Through the community farmer groups, this project has supported the farmers to move from subsistence to commercial farming, hence economically empowering the farmers.
2. Handing Over Ceremony
The Ambassador of Japan to Uganda, H.E. Mr. Keiichi Kato attended the handover ceremony for the Oxen, Ox-ploughs and Ox-carts at Makutu sub-county, Iganga on 7th June 2010.
