Pader, like other districts in Acholi sub-region, was devastated by the armed conflict between the government of Uganda and the Lord’s Resistance Army. This left many social infrastructures such as schools destroyed. Through this project, classroom blocks were constructed and furnished with school furniture. The three schools have a population of about 1,581 pupils who will benefit from this project and many other children who will join the school in the near future. 

 

 

2. Handing Over Ceremony

 

The Deputy Ambassador of Japan to Uganda, Mr. Junji Yamazaki, attended the handing over ceremony at Oret Central Primary School on 28th June 2011.
