Awere Secondary School is located at the border of Gulu and Pader Districts. The school was temporarily displaced to Gulu town during the conflict period, but has returned to their original location now. The school lacked a library for keeping the reading materials and personal study. The new library block will improve the students reading habits and performance.
2. Handing Over Ceremony
The Ambassador of Japan to Uganda, H.E. Mr. Keiichi Kato attended the handing over ceremony at Awere Secondary School on 4th November 2010.
