Family of Africa is an NGO that works with vulnerable people, including street children, orphans, drop-out children, prisoners and their families, by providing vocational trainings, counselling and other forms of support. St. Elizabeth Girls’ Home in Kampala is a vocational training centre for disadvantaged girls, providing about 120 girls with trainings in catering, sewing, hotel service and computer skills. While most of the trainees are accommodated in the centre, the old dormitory block is dilapidated and unsafe; therefore it is necessary for the girls to move in a new dormitory.
