Mwamba Secondary School is the only government-aided school in Rukiri sub-county of Ibanda District, which provides A-level education. While science education has become mandatory as a result of USE policy, due to poor equipment and infrastructure in the area, the students have had limited access to proper science education. The construction of a science laboratories did not only benefit the 370 students in the school, but also 200 other students around the region who now has an access to the school science laboratory.
2. Handing Over Ceremony
The Ambassador of Japan to Uganda, H.E. Mr. Keiichi Kato attended the handing over ceremony at Mwamba Secondary School in Ibanda District on 2nd February 2011.
