The floods and landslide occurrence in Eastern Uganda has led to so many deaths, loss of property and displacement of persons from their homes. The affected households are camped in Bulucheke IDP while others are still in the makeshift camps. This project seeks to accommodate and equip the affected households living in Bulucheke IDP with family tents and Non Food Item Kits.
2. Grant Contract Ceremony
The Ambassador of Japan to Uganda, H. E. Keiichi Kato, has signed the grant contracts with representatives of the recipient organisations on 26th May 2010, at the Embassy of Japan.

3. Handing Over Ceremony
The Deputy Ambassador of Japan to Uganda, Mr. Masaki Shiga attended the handing over ceremony for the Non-food item sets and family tents at warehouse of the Uganda Red Cross Society in Kampala on 18th August, 2010.
