Nyabubare Secondary School was founded in 1983 by Church of Uganda and is registered as government aided school. It is a well-known educational institute in Bushenyi District providing both O’ and A’ level curriculum to over 900 students; however, its existing facilities have been inadequate and 60 to 80 students admitted in each classroom. By the project, a classroom block with two classrooms and one computer room has been constructed, the walls and the floor of the incomplete hall have been plastered and painted to improve the educational facilities of the school. It has also constructed a dormitory block for the boys with three rooms and procured 76 double-decker beds and furniture for the computer room (desks and chairs) to improve the living condition of the students.
