CoRSU in Wakiso district is a local NGO, which was established in 2006 and is the only rehabilitation centre specialized in orthopedic operation as well as rehabilitation services. The services have been provided not only for the people within the country but also those from neighboring countries such as South Sudan, DRC and Tanzania, 80% of whom are physically handicapped children with walking difficulties. Through this project, a set of arthroscopy equipment will be provided and the quality of arthroscopy service will be improved, benefiting more than 4,000 disabled people. It will also develop the arthroscopy service in Uganda by enabling doctors to have quality training with the arthroscopic machine.
2. Grant Contract Ceremony
The Ambassador of Japan to Uganda, H.E. Kazuo Minagawa, has signed the grant contract with Mr. Simon Bridger, Chief Executive Officer, on 6th March 2013 at the Embassy of Japan.

3. Handing Over Ceremony
The Ambassador of Japan to Uganda, Mr. Kazuo Minagawa, attended the handing over ceremony at CoRSU Rehabilitation Hospital, Wakiso District, on 8th July 2013.
