Exchange of Notes for the grant aid, "Project for the Improvement of Traffic Control in Kampala City (Detailed Design)"

On 26^th February 2019 in Kampala, Mr. Mizumoto Horii, Charge d’Affaires ad interim, Embassy of Japan, and Hon. Matia Kasaija, Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, signed the Exchange of Notes for “The Project for the Improvement of Traffic Control in Kampala City (Detailed Design)”. Following the Exchange of Notes, the Grant Agreement between Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Government of Uganda was also signed by Mr. Kazuhiko Koshikawa, Executive Senior Vice President, JICA, and Hon. Minister Kasaija, to provide grant aid of up to 93 million Japanese yen (approx. USD 0.84 million or UGX 2.9 billion).
