On 22 June, Tank Hill Park with Yamasen Japanese Restaurant was awarded the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Commendation in the Construction Projects Category of the 4th Japan Construction International Award sponsored by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan (MLIT).

Tank Hill Park with Yamasen Japanese Restaurant was one of the seven overseas construction projects which represent “quality infrastructure” by Japanese technology. The use of eucalyptus as a structural material by applying the wooden building techniques traditionally used in Japan was one of the points that was highly evaluated.

Councellor Mulijo of the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Tokyo was in attendance and gave congratulatory remarks.
