GGP Grant: Japan Provides Science Laboratory in Adjumani District

On February 22nd 2019, Mr. Horii, Charge d’Affairs ad interim, officiated in the commissioning of the newly constructed Science Laboratory block, in the presence of Rt. Hon. Gen. (Rtd) Moses Ali, First Deputy Prime Minister, at Dzaipi secondary school in Adjumani District. “The Project for the Construction of a Science Laboratory Block at Dzaipi Secondary School in Adjumani District” was signed between the Embassy of Japan and the school in 2015 with a total grant of 101,605 USD equivalent to over 250 million Ug. Shs. The fund was used to construct a science laboratory block with solar PV system and procure a set of school furniture and laboratory equipment to provide safe and efficient learning environment to around 400 students.
