GGP Grant: Japan Supports Primary Education in Apac District

On September 23, Ambassador Fukuzawa officiated in the commissioning of the newly constructed classroom blocks at Odocomac primary school in Apac District. "The Project for the Improvement of Learning Environment at Odokomac Primary School in Apac District" was signed between the Embassy of Japan and the school in 2020 with a total grant of 89,104 USD equivalent to over 310 million Ug. Shs. The fund was used to construct classroom blocks and latrine block, procure desks, which will provide over 1,000 pupils safe learning environment.
