GGP Grant: Japan Constructs Classroom Blocks in Arua

On November 17, a representative from the Embassy of Japan officiated in the commissioning of the newly constructed classroom blocks at Ewaba Primary School in Arua District.

“The Project for the Construction of Classroom Blocks in at Ewaba Primary School in Arua District” was signed between the Embassy of Japan and the school in 2019 with a total grant of 97,368 USD equivalent to over 337 million Ug. Shs.

The primary school is located close to the border to DRC and having more than 1,000 pupils.
The fund was used to construct 2 classroom blocks and 2 latrine blocks, procure a set of furniture to provide safe and clean environment to the pupils.
