Supported and financed by Japan, a new school library with necessary furniture was handed over to Awere Secondary School in Odek Sub County, Gulu District. The Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Keiichi Kato officiated at the commissioning which took place in Awere SS, commenting that Japan recognizes the region’s critical need to promote education of the younger generation, which is to play a key role in the process of reconstruction and development.
